Andrew Eddington – USAG Head Coach
At age 12, Andrew began assisting at gymnastics summer camps and has been coaching ever since. Outside of an ongoing coaching career, Andrew has spent a few years in a variety of physical therapy settings. During that precious time he discovered his passion for teaching children of all mental and physical abilities. Out of college, Andrew started a small company to fabricate and distribute gymnastics equipment that he designed and patented. They sold their products worldwide.
Throughout his career, Andrew was privileged to have been tutored by some brilliant men and women’s coaches. Andrew was a Head Men’s Coach and an Assistant Optional Coach for girls vault and bars until 2006. He moved to Texas in 2007 where he became the Women’s Program Director at Alamo Gymnastics Center in San Antonio, Texas. While there, he had 1 Junior Elite, 2 TOPs Diamonds, 8 National TOPs qualifiers and 3 National Camp invitees.
Many of his former athletes are now competing in universities across the country.
